Effective August 15, 2026

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Avemo collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use Avemo websites, booking experiences, dashboards, and related services.

Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly to Avemo, including your name, email address, phone number, business name, account information, provider information, appointment details, service preferences, notes, uploaded images, and other information you choose to provide.

When customers book appointments through a business using Avemo, we may process information such as customer contact information, appointment details, selected services, providers, locations, payment status, booking history, waitlist information, referral information, and communication preferences.

We may also collect technical information such as browser type, device information, IP address, pages visited, links clicked, and information necessary to keep Avemo secure and functioning properly.

How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • provide, operate, maintain, and improve Avemo;
  • create and manage accounts;
  • process and manage appointments;
  • support payments and payment status;
  • provide appointment reminders and service-related communications;
  • operate waitlists, rebooking, referral, review-request, and retention features;
  • provide customer support;
  • detect fraud, abuse, or security issues;
  • understand how Avemo is used and improve the product;
  • comply with legal obligations.

Businesses Using Avemo

Avemo provides software to independent businesses and service providers.

When you book with a business using Avemo, that business controls many aspects of your relationship with it, including its services, pricing, availability, appointment policies, client notes, and certain communications.

Avemo processes information on behalf of those businesses to provide the Avemo platform.

Businesses using Avemo are responsible for using customer information appropriately and complying with laws applicable to their own business.

Payments

Payments processed through Avemo may be handled by third-party payment processors such as Stripe.

Avemo does not need to store your full payment-card number in order to provide its services. Payment processors may collect and process payment and identity information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

Marketing and Communications

Avemo distinguishes between service-related communications and marketing communications.

Service-related messages may include appointment confirmations, payment information, cancellations, schedule updates, waitlist offers, and similar operational communications.

Where marketing communications are used, Avemo and businesses using Avemo are expected to honor applicable communication preferences and unsubscribe requests.

Avemo provides tools that allow recipients to unsubscribe from marketing email without disabling necessary transactional appointment communications.

Referrals, Reviews, and Rebooking

Avemo may use secure links or tokens to support referrals, review requests, and rebooking.

Referral links may allow Avemo to determine that a new booking came from an existing customer referral. Avemo does not publicly disclose the referred customer’s private appointment or payment information to the person who referred them.

Review links may redirect users to third-party review services. Avemo may record that a review link was clicked, but Avemo does not assume that a review was actually submitted.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Avemo may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, booking sessions, referral attribution, security, preferences, and proper operation of the platform.

Additional analytics or advertising technologies may be described here if Avemo adds them in the future.

How We Share Information

Avemo may share information with service providers that help operate Avemo, including providers of:

  • hosting and infrastructure;
  • payment processing;
  • email or communications;
  • security and fraud prevention;
  • analytics and technical services.

We may also disclose information where required by law, necessary to protect Avemo or its users, or as part of a legitimate business transaction such as a merger or acquisition.

Avemo does not sell personal information to advertisers.

Data Security

Avemo uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.

No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

Avemo retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, support legitimate business purposes, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain appropriate business records.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the business relationship.

Your Choices and Privacy Rights

You may be able to:

  • update information associated with your Avemo account;
  • unsubscribe from marketing communications;
  • contact a business directly regarding information it maintains about you;
  • request access, correction, or deletion where required by applicable law.

Residents of certain jurisdictions, including California, may have additional privacy rights where applicable.

Children's Information

Avemo is designed for businesses and appointment booking. Parents or guardians may use Avemo to book services for children or other dependents.

Avemo does not require children or dependents included in a family booking to create their own Avemo account.

Changes to This Policy

Avemo may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. The updated policy will display a revised effective date.
